This political cartoon shows that workers, by themselves do not have a strong voice or power in their workplace. However, if the workers join forces and become one large group, they are able to have a larger impact and a stronger voice in persuading their employers. Thus this cartoon shows the power that the labor unions had when it came to bringing workers together as one collective force in order to persuade their employers to improve working conditions and increase wages.
